Founded in 2000 and based outside of Boston, MA, Edge Strategies Inc. is led by its founder Bob Kazarian. Bob has over 25 years’ experience working with leading clients in the Information Technology and Telecom Industries, and holds a PhD in Economics from Northeastern University in Boston.

Our core team of Partners each have significant experience in senior positions with industry leaders such as Microsoft, Ericsson, Deloitte Consulting and IDC, and the knowledge and experienced gained from working with our industry-leading clients. 

We maintain long-standing partnerships with leading market research firms throughout Europe, Asia and South America. These firms complement our internal capabilities, and enable us to effectively and efficiently serve our clients in any language or location.

Bob Kazarian

Kazarian BWThe company founder is an industry thought-leader respected for his innovative approach to business decision-making based on market research, sophisticated analytics and deep industry knowledge. 

He has over 20 years’ experience as an executive, entrepreneur and consultant for global leaders including IBM, HP, Microsoft, British Telecom, Portugal Telecom, Alcatel, Cisco Systems, ATT/Bell South,  VARBusiness (UBM Publishing.) and other leading Telecommunication and IT vendors.

Bob was also co-founder of Perseus Development Corp. (now Vovici). Perseus was one of the first online survey research management companies and leader in the development of the Enterprise Feedback/Response Management market.

Earlier in his career, while in graduate school, he partnered with a colleague to form a consulting firm which implemented medical billing systems for doctors and small hospitals. He also served as Vice President of Strategic Marketing with Matrix Software, and Regional Manager with Entre Computer Systems of America.

Bob has a PhD and MA in Economics from Northeastern University, where he also taught courses in economics, econometrics, statistics and research methods while completing his dissertation. 

Bob loves the ocean, and enjoys boating and fishing with his family and friends on Cape Cod. 

Belinda Hanlon

Belinda Hanlon-bwBelinda Hanlon has over 10 years’ experience designing and executing strategic, custom market research studies for a range of clients. Her experience spans domestic and international research and analysis projects for IT, consumer electronics, business to business solution providers, and Telecom clients. Specializing in research operations,

Belinda brings a hands-on approach to project and methodology design, survey design, online programming, fielding and field management, data processing and analysis, and report design. She is a graduate of U. Mass. Amherst, and holds a MPH (Masters in Public Health) from Emory University.


Peter McElhinney

Peter McElhinney is an experienced executive and business strategy consultant with over 25 years of experience in a wide variety of IT and related businesses. He started his career at Cap Gemini, working with Fortune 100 financial and manufacturing companies. In the time since, he has worked with multiple successful startups, focused primarily on web, cloud, and mobile technologies.  

With Edge Strategies his research and analysis work has focused on cloud technologies, particularly in Unified Communications, telecom and "XaaS" solutions. He has a long-term focus on business intelligence and visualization approaches.

In his non-professional life, he is an award-winning arts writer and critic, specializing in jazz and world music.

Dawn Baron

Dawn Baron

Dawn Baron is an experienced executive and business strategy consultant with over 11 years of product development, market research, and user research experience.  

As Vice President of Edge Strategies, Dawn is adept at combining a deep insight into technology goals with market and consumer/user data to generate effective and innovative strategies for our Digital Advertising and Information Technology clients.

Ronna Horwitz

Ronna Horwitz has been with Edge Strategies for 15 years.
