Edge Strategies launches a new and unique community research portal for online search and display advertisers, agencies and consultants. A select group of participants receive financial incentives, research reports and insights from colleagues for participating in surveys and discussion groups related to Search, Content, Mobile and Display marketing.

Situation:

A major telecom content and service provider needed to introduce new business services to protect its small business markets from competing providers, and to establish new revenue sources to offset slowing growth in its traditional business.

Edge Strategies provided the primary research, predictive analytics and customer scoring to help the client determine which services to offer and how to price those services, we first conducted research and analysis to determine how to maximize activation of the base services among customers, and then determined which follow-on services its customers would be most likely to adopt.

Result:

The client has become one of the leading providers of hosted collaboration and communication services, realizing one of the highest adoption rates for high value business communication and collaboration services in the US.


Situation:

A global search engine platform and tool provider needs to dramatically improve market share vs. a strong industry competitor. Based on a referral from an existing client the search provider came to edge strategies to develop a fresh approach to their customer acquisition and retention strategy.

Edge Strategies conducted an extensive analysis of the marketplace using a combination of secondary data, web analytical data from major online data harvesting engines, and over 1200 hours of primary interviews with businesses and agencies who use search advertising.
